Objective

The objective of the Fund is to provide investors with an opportunity to achieve capital growth over the medium to long term period by investing in Shariah-compliant securities.

Asset Allocation

Under normal circumstances, allocation to Shariah-compliant equities and Shariah-compliant equity-related securities ranges between 80% and 99.5% of the NAV of the Fund. The remaining will be invested in Islamic money market instruments, Islamic deposit placements, sukuk and/or other Shariah-compliant permitted investments. The equity allocation may be reviewed from time to time depending on the global, regional and local economic as well as equity market conditions. This includes assessing the relevant political, economic and business environment prior to making investment decisions.
